Welcome to GSweep! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the GSweep Gmail Add-on and any related services (collectively, the “Services”). By using GSweep, you agree to these Terms.
1. Your Privacy
Your privacy is paramount to us. Please review the GSweep Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Policy”) as it details the types of data we collect, how we use it, and the legal bases for processing. The Privacy Policy also explains how GSweep interacts with your email content, specifically for the purpose of performing the actions you configure. By agreeing to these Terms, you consent to GSweep’s collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy, solely for providing and improving the Services.
2. Your Content (Emails)
Many of our Services allow you to manage, organize, and act upon your email content. GSweep does not claim ownership of your email content. Your emails remain yours, and you are responsible for them.
- Purpose of Access: You understand that when you grant GSweep access to your Gmail account, you are enabling the add-on to read, modify, and delete your emails solely for the purpose of executing the rules and actions you have configured within the GSweep service. GSweep will perform actions like deleting old emails, moving messages, applying labels, or keeping only the latest email, as per your explicit instructions.
- Limited Use of Data: We commit to accessing, using, and retaining your email content and data only to the extent necessary to provide the GSweep Services to you, to protect our services, and to improve GSweep’s functionality. We do not use your email content for advertising purposes or share it with third parties beyond what is strictly necessary to operate the service (e.g., payment processing via Stripe, as detailed in our Privacy Policy).
- Your Responsibility: You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights for the email content managed by GSweep and that allowing GSweep to process your emails will not violate any law or rights of others. GSweep does not control or verify the content of your emails and cannot be held responsible for the content itself.
3. Code of Conduct
You are responsible for your conduct when using the Services. By agreeing to these Terms, you confirm that you will follow these rules:
- Lawful Use: Don’t use GSweep for any illegal activities or to generate/manage content that is illegal.
- No Harmful Activity: Don’t engage in any activity that harms or threatens others, or attempts to exploit the system (e.g., transmitting viruses, spamming outside of GSweep’s intended function, phishing).
- Respect Boundaries: Don’t attempt to circumvent any restrictions on access to, usage, or availability of the Services, or violate the privacy or data protection rights of others.
- No Unauthorized Access: Don’t attempt to disassemble, decompile, hack, or reverse engineer any part of the GSweep software or services.
- No Helping Others Break Rules: Do not assist others in violating these Terms.
4. Using the Services & Support
- Gmail Account: You will need a valid Google/Gmail account to use GSweep as it is a Gmail Add-on. You agree not to use any false or misleading information when linking your account.
- Service Notifications: We may send you service notifications related to your GSweep account via email (to your linked Gmail address) or through the add-on interface itself.
- Support: Customer support for GSweep is available via our Contact Us page. We strive to provide timely assistance, though support may be limited for free tier or beta features.
- Ending Your Services: You can cancel your GSweep subscription or uninstall the add-on at any time. Upon cancellation or uninstallation, your access to GSweep’s automated features will cease. We will delete data associated with your GSweep usage as per our Privacy Policy. Please ensure you have a regular backup plan for your emails, as GSweep is a management tool and not a primary backup service.
5. Using Third-Party Services (Stripe)
GSweep utilizes Stripe for all subscription management and payment processing. When you subscribe to a paid plan, you will interact directly with Stripe’s secure payment portal. Your use of Stripe is subject to their terms of service and privacy policy. GSweep does not store your full payment card details directly. We are not responsible for any issues arising directly from your use of Stripe’s services, beyond the secure redirection for payment.
6. Service Availability
We strive to keep GSweep running smoothly; however, as an online service, occasional disruptions or outages may occur. GSweep is not liable for any disruption or loss you may suffer as a result. We recommend regular backups of your important emails. Features and availability may vary based on your region or device, and may change over time.
7. Updates to Services or Terms
We may update these Terms or the features/functionality of GSweep at any time. We will notify you of significant changes. Your continued use of the Services after such changes means you agree to the new terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Services and uninstall the add-on. We may also automatically update the add-on to ensure continued functionality and improvements.
8. Software License
GSweep is licensed, not sold. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use GSweep as a Gmail Add-on for your personal and professional email management. You may not:
- Circumvent any technological protection measures.
- Disassemble, decompile, or reverse engineer the software.
- Publish, copy, rent, sell, or transfer the software or licenses without explicit authorization.
- Use the Services in any unauthorized way that interferes with others’ use or gains unauthorized access.
9. Payment Terms
If you purchase a GSweep Pro subscription, these payment terms apply:
- Charges: You agree to pay the specified charges in the indicated currency. Prices exclude applicable taxes and currency exchange settlements unless stated otherwise.
- Your Billing Account: You will provide a payment method via Stripe. You agree to keep your billing information accurate and up-to-date.
- Billing: By providing a payment method, you authorize GSweep (via Stripe) to charge you for the Services. Billing may occur in advance or on a recurring basis for subscriptions, as agreed upon.
- Recurring Payments: For subscriptions, you authorize recurring payments until terminated by you or GSweep. You must cancel before the next billing date to avoid further charges.
- Online Statement & Errors: Stripe will provide your billing statements. Report any billing errors to us within 30 days of the error appearing.
- Refund Policy: Unless required by law or a specific offer, all purchases are generally final and non-refundable. Contact us if you believe you’ve been charged in error within 30 days.
- Canceling Services: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future recurring charges but generally does not provide refunds for the current billing period, unless otherwise required by law.
